Is this the worst growing year on record?

All my tomatoes are succumbing to blight. Its enough to make a grown man weep.

I think the only thing to do is to diversify...grow bits of everything. I'd planned to grow a field of beans this year, but someone must've heard me...its too wet and cold for them. But my lettuce are doing well, potatoes too. Next year can only be better?
