Of course it will be for the intelligentsia, or there'd be mayhem with people running around dishing out home-made soup thinking that's what a potager was! Not the sort of ambience or sustenance the GR needs. This is serious business folks, so let's get planning, planting, hoeing, growing, mending, tending, digging, giggling, questing, resting, cropping and bopping - you know it makes sense! Oh - and at the end of the day, can we have some pix please!
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

I'm sorry miss mousetrouseres but there is nothing serious about the GR! You turn up get rat ar$ed ( if you are very clever you do it for free like rary. I take my hat off to you sir! ). You have lots of very silly conversations, silly dancing, improv all the way through the panto. Wobble home, pass out. This happens Every night over the Chrismad season. Job done.

SP while the hats off could you pass it round, I think I will need some money this year as there are a number of GR regulars expecting me to buy the first round, or any round, (dream on friends) are their any gullible, sorry, new Grapes I can catch for a loan, and where do folk get the idea that I could play Scrooge, to be good at a part you should feel you fit the part. I would be willing to sample the beers and spirits, and I would be willing to dig holes for the composting toilets, when you are ready to start give me a shout, but just make a start if I am not there I will need to go and borrow a shovel, but if you want me really quick just start pouring free drink I will turn up. Could you place a dictionary in the reading room so that I can look up some of the big words that are used, I think I will head over to see Shen, if he has all those drinks there are bound to be some alcoholic ones among them.

rary - only lager or lager shandy for the hot weather or beer for those who prefer it - I have stopped stocking the hard stuff in the poly and only take it up when expecting company as some of the ladies were nipping in and helping themselves; at least that is what my regular male callers were claiming and as I have never 'caught them' telling fibs who am I to dispute their assertions - (However, they are experts in tall tales - you should see their claims about the size of their onions - AP would shake his head in disbelief). Look forward to seeing you anytime - I think my Black Label was finished due to an extended party last week caused by rain but I'm sure I have a number of malts to suit your taste :-)

Today we have made an offer to Mr I Pullem to be our landlord at the GR subject to references and licensing requirements. Previous posts held include being the licencee at the Leaky Cauldron and The Three Broomsticks ( rumoured to be VC's old local).

Mr Pullem will be responsible for selecting a provider of ales, wines and spirits, Newton and Riddley are the favoured suppliers at the moment but we could decide to make the GR a free house....no rary that doesn't mean you can drink for nothing!

So cruel, build up my hopes, then crush them with the next sentence

Does it mean that the House is Free, then GL?

                    I'm confused

Means it's free to sell any beers and ciders as its not attached to a brewery VC.

Whilst I am talking about cider, Str0ngb0w will not be on the beverage list as that is just apple bobbing water

Wouldn't it be better to have the GR attached to a brewery? Then we wouldn't have to go far for more supplies

Only joking, you don't need to explain

But its good apple bobbing water

Potty if you run a 35mm pipe will you install a sample point, I will carry out the sampling myself at no cost to the GR, to guarantee the quality of the product.

Potty - off topic - I want to run a pipe from our water tank to a subsidiary tank at the top of the site - I was thinking of 32mm rather than anything less - the water in the tanks would be pumped through the pipe to the sub - the outlet from the pump is 32mm - is it better therefor to use that diameter of pipe?
