Looking at that, rather more than they obviously did. What should have happened is when they finally all fell down, someone should have asked "Who knows where the nearest pub is" then the one with his hand straight up would have given them their vertical line, then the following question of "Has anyone got any money" would have resulted in someone with his hands in his pockets and arms akimbo would have given them their horizontal line. If there was a man in between them pointing down to the ground saying "How the 'eck do we get off this roof" it would have provided their 45 degree angle so all would have worked out well. Simples!
