    (...... I love that, JanieB)

And this morning I stopped to watch ..............................
    .
... A portly hot-air balloon seemingly suspended high, high in the pearlescent blue sky

    .

... Expanse of flaxen wheat, gently undulating like a lazy Mexican wave in the placid, waft of the breeze

    .

... Perceptibly endless panoramic view from atop the trail ..... my eye lingered on the distant wind turbines majestically rotating their lengthy, limbs in unison - sun glinting off them ....

    .

... The deep, low drone of a bee, busily working its way from flower to flower greedily drinking up the powdery pollen

Still does just thinking about it!
I used to own a house next to a school and believe me the novelty soon wears off! The good thing about it was that you never saw any bairns after school in the evening or weekends as they used to try and get as far away as possible!

A long time ago now but when I was married to a farmer and walked our dog seeing a dormouse I assume scratching its back in the dust. Nowadays I would have taken a picture. It was enormoursly cute.

Definately woodpeckers.... I'm forever looking up at night in the hope of seeing meteorites.

Just now ~ working in the garden, distant thunder rumbling ..... slow, thick heavy raindrops languidly plopping onto the ground around me ...........Then, a sudden clap of thunder directly above ~ I run for the shelter of the house and stop still, watching, transfixed by the sheets of rain now falling in a deluge .....

                    I love watching the sunset.
The different colours of the clouds as late evening and nightfall approaches.
                    Trees blowing in the wind.
                    Stormy seas.
                    Leaves falling in the autumn.
Trees coming back to life after the winter.
And of course walking the beach in the evening as the tide changes.
I could go on and on. The beauty of nature.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
