Now, did my post go astray via some gremlins, or did I do something stupid in pressing wrong buttons?!?! Anyway, here we go again - I spend my spare time outside of gardening reading and doing cross stitching (usually accompanied by a glass or two). A month or so I would have added that I love walking in the rain but the novelty is starting to wear off now!! I do still enjoy walking though
Flum, I love the quilts. Laura, I'm jealous
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

I read, or entertain the dog when it rains...
I suppose I should do the housework, but it's so boring!

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

At the moment, we are watching lots of crappy TV that the OH has recorded on his new toy (Sky Plus)

We are still managing to get the kids out in between showers, altho it has rained every single day of the school hols so far. Unfortunately, its not cycling weather at all, so we are depending on the car, which I don't like. Much rather be out walking or biking than sat in traffic

That's lovely Flummery. I have a whole bag of patchwork pieces cut out and ready go go, I'm sure that's where they will stay...... For the moment I am making my own 'growbags' for next season out of a load of old silage wrap which I couldn't find another use for. They are surprisingly sturdy, so I'm quite pleased with them. Will post a photo when I have a camera handy.
