Oh dear, I'm really sorry to see this.
Some gardens here are totally overrun by them - they must breed during the twilight hours. I admit to having one, he's very old and no trouble. probably sleeps all day at his age.
If you come across any of these pests, perhaps you could parcel them up and send them back gnome

Of course, they're only a problem if they get out of hand, as is the case with any 'unwanted' plant in the wrong place .....
I wouldn't encourage the habit of common or garden gnome-growing ....... as, like ivy, if left to their own devices, will totally overrun the typical family garden....
Use with caution..............!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Cheeky has been with me for some time but my problem on the allotment is monkeys see http://cadalot-allotment.blogspot.co...e-monkeys.html not to mention the concrete windmill and the birdbath on plot 1A.

A good job some peeps are nurturing them,they an icon of yesteryear,i do not currently have that particular species,but do adore the animals that adorn the garden pond,especially mrs wabit and her 4 babies,talking off gnomes,i vaygly recall something about 1 that traveled around the world some time ago.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these
