  • Mornin Flon'all !

Ta for the tea Flo!....I've à Day of painting skirting boards and window and door trim so it'll be ready to fix on once the walls are done.
Bit of a wrong way round but it's the only way of having them painted and dry in time for next week!!!

From the heavy farm vehicles passing by it looks like the local farmer is separating the calves from their moms today.
It's much later than normal so I guess the little lads will be straight off for the 'Xmas market'

    Have a great day peeps!...

        • Happy Sunshiny Wednesday Its a day for going out there and doing something physical - what depends on how wet the soil is! Might be more digging of brambles or leaf raking or just dreaming of spring. Probably I'll do it a bit of everything, especially the last
          Have a great day everyone

            • Morning, absolutely chucking it down. Gas engineer coming this afternoon, thankfully we got to choose morning or afternoon Piskie. The blooming brand new hot water cylinder is making a horrendous noise when heating the water. Honestly does nothing ever work nowadays?
Finally going to get the tree done today, it's been in the garage since Sunday.
Hope you all have a great day.
Reading your post Nicos, I could quite easily become a vegetarian!

I am blaming it on the datk morning but, we didnt wake up until 10.0'clock. This has never hapoened before. I cant believe we both slept that long. Glad we have nothing in particular planned for today.

                    • Morning from me girls and boys.
I was up early but had to go to B AND Q as its pensioners day and spend another £60 odd on paint etc. The joy of it.
Then a quick trip to the bank to get money, as the new front door is alledgedly being fitted sometime about now.
Got daughter and partner coming round for tea, on the pretext that he will see if he can do our new heating. I don't really want him to though. Not that he is not qualified or experienced, but that he only has time off at weekends. He says he can do it in a weekend. Not a chance. Unless he's got three mates to help him .......
The weather here is quite nice today, blue sky and cloud. Not cold at all.
Have a nip day, what's left of it anyway

                            • Good evening, a dull wet day today and as we have a full calender for the next four or five days I was told we were going shopping this morning once we dropped the boy's off at school, when we got home I thought I would give a hand with some cleaning and let OH finish quicker, I washed the bathroom, kitchen, hall and porch floors, the OH she was busy on the phone, just as well it's almost Christmas or there would have been some said. In the afternoon we went to a pantomime at the school, unfortunately I had problems hearing the dialogue but the music and songs were good, well need to go and feed the two oldest, now I wonder what I can feed them to
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Did your Care package include seeds, Sparrow? Guaranteed to make you feel better! Hope you're better soon!

Don't know whether this is cruel but I was about to post that I was in the garden until 4.45 today. OK, it was too dark for precision pruning but it was great for attacking old raspberry canes. I've had a great afternoon, clearing, in the sunshine. A few more days like today please

                                Have a luvly evening
