    • That was a problem I had with my 1st ex. Because we lived on a farm he was able to drop in at any time of the day and hated it when I did a spring clean of any room. He couldn't understand that you had to drag everything out to sort it, chuck the rubbish and put keepables back tidily

        • Oh Trip, glad to hear your ok. Happened to my daughter a few years ago. She was cycling to work and a truck pinned her on the inside and then decided to turn, trapping her and her bike underneath. The ambulance took her to hospital and fortunately she wasnt badly hurt.
Aside from that, the weather was miserable. Dull and wet all day.
The all Irelsnd football final that we all have been so looking forward to ended in a draw and will now have to be replayed.
Other than that its been a pretty mediocre Sunday.

You're right, Lottie - you've got to be in the mood.

            Update: one more binbag.
Five collapsable crates containing my fabric stash all emptied, sorted into colours and put back neatly (this will last about a minute into the start of the next sewing project...),
Three varieties of Pea seeds all chucked as life is too short to keep seed from 2008 in the hope that they might germinate. Even *I* am not that mean.
Halved the number of jars of horded bean seeds (about 20 varieties) by sorting into 'might grow again' and 'eat'.

I've had enough of that lot for today, so I'll leave the moving all the furniture out the room vac, clean woodwork, carpet clean and put everything back with the exception of that bathroom suite (which will be brought down two flights of stairs and into the garage - do keep up) for another day.

Yes, so agree! That could have turned out so much worse

Nicos, I know what I would have done with that teabag

Ive had a lovely day today, a walk along the canal with my dog and my college mate from many moons ago and her two kids. We had coffee on the can'so barge and then lunch in the pub along the river. I must say my head is now in a spin...too many coffees and lots of chat. Looking forward to a quiet evening in but suddenly realised I've not done the washing!! Shirts and rugby kit

                • Good evening Folks, very quite on here tonight, is everyone getting ready for the new work week, just been watching a program about NewYork, some fantastic things and places in it, the Central Park has some great features, but I am so glad I don't stay there, I am happy staying in a town, even without a public garden, or interesting public park, not even a dance hall or picture house, but two minutes out the door and I am in the countryside, where I can walk in peace and quiet and enjoy the weather, which is usually rain. So I wish you all a good night, enjoy what you have only make changes where it is an improvement especially for the future, isn't it ironic that now I know where I want to go, I don't want to go anywhere, going to bed. Goodnight
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
