Just reading about these aids you need for your wife Cad....do the NHS not supply these things in England? Before my dad came home from hospital the occupational therapist visited and decided what he needed and all were duly delivered! Raised toilet seat with handles to help him up, a seat for the shower and a few more things including a handrail at the back door...all free. I'm shocked you can't get the things you need for your OH. Wishing you both well.

Occupational therapist came in originally 4 years ago but it took a couple of weeks and they did provide a number of aids, But I had already installed additional hand rails etc on the stairs. The current need for the toilet extension was immediate as her knees and muscles were not working, so I'm more than happy to buy it straight away.

We were away for a couple of days Monday and Tuesday which was an anniversary present from our daughters and Mr C did over do it on the walking front but appeared to be coping and was OK Wednesday, hopefully she will bounce back after a couple of days bedrest, if not it's back to the specialist.

My last day of cleaning until just after C.....mad. Then the spring cleaning starts!!

God morning Folks, that post above should read "had a good time at neighbours" I can't understand how it came out the way it did, I think I should give up posting from the kindle but it is handy, carrying a pc about is not to convenient. Well looks like it is going to be a good day nice blue sky with a touch of clouds at present, so hopefully it stays like that I will go and see if I have done anything wrong g last night, I will know if there is a "chill" in the kitchen, see you later

Good morning from cold but trying to be sunshiny SW. Not sure what I'll be doing today, clearing some of the 30+ beds might be an idea! Lots of raspberry canes to dig up - that should keep me warm

Well, sun is out but it's still chilly. Last cut of the grass today hopefully and some pots to sort and that's the tidy up done for the winter.
