Super turnout for my talk and although they were mostly middle aged to old, they seemed to enjoy my talk. Difficult to know how to pitch a talk to that kind of audience but between my prepared script and a generous smattering of ad-libs, it got me through. Next one will be a different kettle of fish, that will be to a group of exhibition growers.

Sorry to hear your feeling poorly Janie. Same thing happened to my friend. Suspected stroke and Bellspalsy on one side of her face. With treatment and facial exercise you would never know anything had happened to her.
Hope youre on the mend soon.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

Need to reflect just to make sure I'm doing a sensible thing - easy to pick a cutie kitten cat, but the commitment and cost for 17-odd years of your life (if my lovely Domino cat is anything to go by) means this is not to rush at.
(*translation: as the cat fosterers can't be called until after 2pm tomorrow, I am having to sit on my hands.)

Morning all, bright but chilly outside. Heatings on, slippers are out brrr
Off to see Daughter and the GG this afternoon. We have been back from Holiday a week and I gave up trying to contact her and summoned her father to phone her. That always works
Before that it's a visit to our poorly friend from work. She had a relapse last week, but is home from hospital and ready for visitors.
Have a lovely day everyone, wrap up warmNannys make memories

Originally posted by Hazel at the Hill View Posthat's off to you, Shen - and I thought I'd had it tough at the track tonight, doing interval work which was essentially a 3 mile sprint. Morning all, wet here so a bit 'warmer' today.
Good news Hazel as you say animals are a huge commitment but worth it! If you decide to go ahead and adopt a kitty remember to post some piccies.
