Please to say that my soldering iron skills must be getting better. After a year of on and off work / head scratching and general bewilderment I've finally turned my cheap Chinese IR HD motion-sensing camera into something that I can use in the GH / at the allotment for the recording of wildlife etc
Inspired by yesterday's success - today I've attached a little raspberry pi to a sensor and am recording temp and humidity. Stage 2 of this will be to get it working in the GH and putting up plots/graphs on the internet so that when I'm away I can phone Mrs Balders and get her to water plants / open GH doors etc. (Some chance but living in hope)
(This new fixation has got so bad that I've realised I just spent the last hour de-soldering bits and bobs from old freeview boxes / modems and junk.)
