If you want me to I am more than happy to curb my daft enthusiasm and even dafter threads so that any potential recruits will not be put off.

I do have a list of more 'normal' threads that I am happy to post to get everyone chatting -

How do I darn a woolly sock?
    Do radishes give you wind?
    Why won't my cactus flower?

    What do you think?

p.s Can we have a panto for C************

As a team we make collective decisions about what to do and occaisionally involve the admin team but mainly when dealing with technical issues. The time given is puely voluntary and is suppose to be around an hour a day but as users as well as mods it is very rare that one of us is not around.

We read every post and look at every attachment to ensure to whole vine community remains the great place it is.

One thing we hope we are not is authoritarian or biased and because we are a team we consider responses from all sides.

So if any grapes think "I could do that" then we would love to hear from you

As I have decided that it is about time I started to act my age I would just like everyone to appreciate how hard it was not to react to the above Borg quote.

I'm sorry Susie I can't as I am a mature adult now so will give up watching anything Star Treck, Andromeda, Wobbly Dead, Z Nation, DS 9, Babylon 5 (now that one is going to hurt). etc and instead amuse my brain with programs, comments and images more befitting my age and stature.

                      • Since 'they' won't let US have a panto at C*********** in the GR.

Do you know how heart breaking it is to have to tell the various sewn together pieces of fabric that simulate various real life animals that 'they' are no longer needed?

They are going off to the quilt factory next week for re-assignment!

On the good side I have just found a prog that lets you watch paint dry........

                              • I am sorry Veggiechicken (see I now use full titles) Greenleaves said that it was no longer in his hands so he has passed the buck onto an unknown decision maker.

He, Greenleaves also stated that in his opion there shough be NO panto this year.

As an adult member of this growing community I took it that this meant that whoever was going to make a decision was probably going to take Moderators opions into account.

                                The panto horse was crying.......
