But getting back to the purpose of this thread. I'm very pleased about the ban on videos.
It always takes ages for pages to load that have them and I never watch them, life's to short when you only have half Meg maximum broadband connection ( no, I can't get another provider, there is no others up here).

So thank you.

Now if we could just get rid of the moving/ flashing ads ( I'm sorry I always want more, me me me me me )

I believe there is an ad blocker you can down load, but as the forum is free, I guess the adverts pay for it's up keep.
