I didn't.........I was coerced .
I'm only using the pointy stick for my basic training. I will never master the art like VC. I was thinking more along the lines of a bat'leth for my weapon of choice

All of these have legitimate uses in the garden and some are darned scary

SP starts her Mod training with a sponge tipped pointy stick - as I did. This ensures that nobody is fatally injured during training. After training, SP will select her weapon of choice and show no mercy! So play nice
I decided to stick with the Pointy Stick, as it felt comfortable to handle but the sponge tip is long gone - only the sharpest point for me now.
