Son had an appointment with one of our older tenants this morning.
On arrival the curtains were still drawn and there was no answer to his knocking (and boy can he knock). He called me to report and went to his next job 3 doors away, whilst there he asked if they had seen anything of the chap "That's strange said the lady, we always see him going for his paper just after 9o/clock and I haven't seen him today."
Son finished his job and went back to find the curtains still closed and no answer to his knocking. After phoning me he phoned the letting agency, explained that this chap never lets us down and insisted some one bring the emergency key.
40 minutes later the old gent was found unconscious on the bedroom floor in just his socks and underpants. Ambulance arrived in 7 minutes and took him to hospital, daughter notified, house checked and left safe and secure, now we just have to await further news.
Well done lad!!!
