Sad news.

When you became a mod, VC, the quality of the modding on this forum rose immeasurably and I think that encouraged quite a few nervous lurkers out into the daylight to share the fun of posting threads and comments. The forum became a much more easy going and pleasant place to while away an hour or two and your modding has been fair but unobtrusive.

Thanks for giving us so much of your time so freely and with such good will.

Thanks MH but I have to put the record straight.
I was just part of a team, we worked together and usually agreed on how to deal with issues. When BB and I became Mods, replacing those who left for various reasons we won't go into, the pendulum swung to a more light hearted approach. I'd like to think that we Modded with velvet gloves not with sarcasm.
Quite honestly, the threat of the Pointy Stick seemed to be enough to bring people back into line. I hope you were never aware of the times when I used it to incur real pain
