  • Would anyone care to join me on the 'Procrastination' thread?

My days seem to be all start/stop at the moment, I have no idea why.

I start out with good intentions but then will do something or start something then sit down and have a break. It's not like I can claim I'm overworked or anything, I just have trouble in the motivation department. I will cheerfully procrastinate at any opportune moment.

I have a long list of things to do, everything from making official telephone calls to making mince to emptying dead plants from pots to finding a spare warm duvet so I can't even pretend I just don't like the type of job I'm (not) doing! None of them could be classed as hard or taxing.

I was going to pretend it's an age thing but some of you are ages with me or even a bit older and the stuff you do on a day puts me to shame. (Assuming you're not all just making things up to look good that is! )

Anyone else feel like this or am I just getting lazy?

There are always lots of things you could / should do, but most of them don't need to be done right now.

I tend to let the pile of "stuff to do" build up until it starts to annoy me then I have a busy day clearing the list. Then I slip back into idleness again

Procrastination - one of the few things I can truly say I'm good at

I was going to look at this thread earlier, but sat down with a cup of tea to finish a good book instead....
