  • The Naming of Storms

As Storm Barbara is about to hit the UK I thought it could be fun to rename these storms after us Grapes.
So Barbara could become Storm Bigmallly or Storm Bren in Pots!
I'd like to claim Storm Veggiechicken - unless Verinda would like the honours!

Anyone else want to be a Storm?

Unfortunately, I think Lumpy Storm makes me sound like an 'actress' from a particular type of film!

Miss Mousetrousers storm sounds like my cats have brought some live gifts in and my bicycle clips are nowhere to be found! It could also mean a red warning if my OH finds any more washing under the bed that he wants me to do before Xmas!
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

Storm NVG sounds more like a storm in space that on this planet. Possibly a solar storm

                  Missed mine

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

In real life, with my real name, I have never had a storm named after me, but I can keep hoping as storms are becoming more frequent.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I am hoping storms are a raryty, (I know, wrong spelling) still trying to work out what kind of, film actress, would use Lumpy Storm as a name
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

The same sort of actor that. Would use the name small pumpkin !!!
Because it definitely doesn't work as the name of a storm.
Change it slightly to the great pumpkin storm of 1917 ( i don't want to predict the future ) it kind of works, ( as long as you say it with Deep South America accent ).

                          I'm awake far to early.....sorry
