    Looks like VC hasn't bovvered

Just back frrom the plot - disappointing brussel sproutness - many had blown and I suspect one plant had been stripped -whether by man or beast I couldn't say.

Fortuitously, I don't like 'em so that means its a 'bit of a result'

So, what would everyone like to drink as there is a full selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinkies that I nicked from the Gardeners Rest last night.................

I'm still on coffee but I might just launch myself into a bottle of brandy shortly............

Good to see you've all found the booze and nibbles! Lots of Nuts Help yourself

I thought Santa had been to see me last night 'cos when I woke up there was something brightly coloured and shiny beside my pillow. I reached out a sleepy hand and touched it - glossy, I like glossy!

Watched the grandkids opening their Christmas presents and had a game of football with the youngest - I got beat 11-0 but as he's Lionel Messi is not surprising - this is his latest Christmas joke - 'What's worse than raining cats and dogs'?

Morning all! I found a good reason to go to the garden this morning... harvesting that essential part of the meal- baby carrots. Planted them on July 31 and should be perfectly succulent today!
                  Bon appétit!

You'll have to entertain yourselves for a wee while as I'm off to see my Mum.
I'm sure you can find something to do - but if you're stuck you can play Happy families with my seed collection

Well dinner is done and dusted. Veg was a bit al dente but was passable.
I've brought round some extra crisps and chocolate if anyone wants some.
