  • I suppose there was no answer to that really.

I have been a very busy chief cook today rushing around like a ruddy whirlwind.

And all I can hear is Mr Bee shouting at the telly humming, whistling, and singing constantly.

    DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

Until I could stand no more. And I remonstrated, 'You have been making noise all ruddy day! It is driving me nuts!!!!'.

To which he replied ' At least I am only making a noise. You are making a mess'

I wonder if he would like raw turkey sandwiches for his dinner tomorrow.

      He could be content quietly.

      I manage it.

I never know if he is shouting at the telly, shouting at me or talking to the neighbours.

It's only Christmas dinner? Theres only so much you can eat over a couple of days ...lovely Christmas Eve seafood dinner for us this evening. A couple of boxes of oysters with a few bottles of fizz followed by mussels in White wine, cream and herbs with chunks of bread. No rushing around and it took all of 5mins to cook the boys were given the job of schucking the oysters. They loved that!

I had 10 for Christmas dinner.
Seafood sounds wonderful but it would still need a lot of work to do it for 10 and then if there were oysters I would be very ill indeed.

Never mind, it was a perfectly cooked 4 course dinner that everyone enjoyed and Mr Bee and I are still talking.
I wouldn't waste one of Paul Kelly's wonderful turkeys by stuffing OH's head into it. LOL

Reminds me of that old joke -

We had the in-laws for Christmas dinner.

It'll be a turkey next year

                    As you were...........
