It would seem I have had a deer in the driveway recently - poxy things I have several clumps of what were to be tulips. Now they are just 10cm stumps. Well I have got away from deer damage for 4 years I suppose something had to happen at some point.
I have waited in all day for my OH parcel to arrive and it's only just arrived. If I knew it was coming this late I could of gone on the plot this morning!
Washing machine broke Friday night and flooded utility floor. Have bags of wet stinky laundry. Tried to get front panel off today as suspect something trapped in motor (probably a small sock or similar). Can't get front panel off without taking top panel off - but machine is too heavy for me to move......
Someone being too lazy to take 20 paces from gate to door to post a flier through the post box (it is a large driveway gate that was open. First time someone has wedged a leaflet in the gate latch)
Said flyer is for a tree butcher and on it I quote "ASH TREE's are a major issue as 99% of these have disease and should be felled!" No wonder tree conservationists struggle with rumour mongering like this. I wonder if the people that state these things really believe it or they just pray on peoples ignorance.
(I realise ash dieback is a problem and trees have a lifespan like everything else but the one and only answer should not be "chop it down" )
Is it only me, who thinks that Nemaslug and all the other 'natural' variants of parasitic worms are anything else but natural and not enough research has been done to see what the long term affects of using them can be? Slugs, like all animals are all parts of a jigsaw in an eco system and to take out one piece could ruin the whole.
Rant over.
