Itch itch....scratch scratch.....aaaahhhhh.....

Why is it that for me a simple plan can go so very wrong?

Simple Plan Outline -

1. Very slowly walk to the dentist sweating and jittering.
2. Allow Receptionist to lassoe me into the waiting area.
3. Allow dentist to gaffa tape me into the chair.
4. A couple of injections.
5. Wiggle, wobble, pull. Tooth out and its all over.

Today I managed 1 to 4 on my simple plan and then it all went bits up.

5. 2 more injections as first 4 not really working.
6, 1 more injection down middle of tooth - made the mistake of opening my eyes to have a peek and saw the needle which could have turned Moby Dick (the whale) into a shish kebab.
7. Wiggle, wobble................nope not moving.
8. Tooth then cut in half with pneumatic road drill thingy.
9. Wibble, wobble, half came out.
10. Sent nusrse to fetch plier things that resembled what farriers use to trim hooves.
11. Wibble, wobble, heave, pull etc

And then 12 happened............'I am going to have to refer you to a specialist dentist as it seems 2 of the roots have become part of your jaw and I know my limitations' said the dentist.

Now sitting here looking like an over fed lopsided hamster......................

My Rant..............that Lumpy relates a terrifying dental experience and I end up laughing about it

Dentists. As a kid I had the same one most of my life, one time he was on hols I had a different dentist and the numpty put a pointy tool in my gum and I ran round the room refusing to sit back down. Then as I grew up and moved away I stopped going. 8years ago I went to a dentist with a broken tooth I got him to pull it and he left part of the tooth behind and told me I needed a filling else where. The tooth with a filling broke a few months later. Now I just have dodgy bad teeth. I hate dentists.

Well done on going Lumpy you are braver than me, hope it gets sorted soon.

Companies .....ing me on delivery charges because of where I live! When Royal Mail would do it for 1/3 of the price in fact the same price as the company charges the rest of the country !!!!

My rant is just to oppose Bren's on the 'happy' thread - forgetting to take pics for the VVS before cooking my veg!

P.s. Lumpy that's a traumatic experience not a rant, you poor thing. To be fair, you should have known that your tusks could not be removed by a nomal dentist - you need a safari vet!

Several sightings of hooge Spanish slugs in the veg patch this week. Have always been quite happy to leave the slugs to it as I have only seen 1 Spanish bugger before in over four years. Guess I better start a slug routine

Just been checking the shipping forecast for the ferry tomorrow morning
force 8-9 last night!!!!!
(Insert green, vomity smilie)

Hopefully the worst will be over within the next 24hrs ...but I even get seasick on a mill pond!
Upside I suppose is that it might just kick start my diet?

Can today be over with already!!!!! Nothing is going right for me today. 1st I spill tea all over the place then I spill water all over and next I am feeding the rabbit and end up spilling his food all over the place.

I am on nights at working tonight. I will be glad when 7am comes and I can just get in bed!!!!!!!
