  • Gorgeous day here! Am on second breakfasts and enjoying the view. The allotment cat has been bribed into sitting on my lap and I am strenuously ignoring the messy end of my plot. Today will be spent removing the ruddy couch grass, buttercups and bindweed from the future flower patch. And stroking the cat till he gets fed up and claws me.

    • It's just sooo lovely out there, if you can ignore the wind that is.
I had a line of washing out, but hubby is jet washing patio, so off it came and went into the dryer grr
He also put up my mini greenhouse aka blowaway.
Will be starting my seeds off over the next few days, the usual suspects are all in my tan, plus quite a few flower seeds that I am wanting to have a go at this year.
Potatoes are chatting beautifully in the porch still.
      Have a great day

      • Mornoon all
Sooper sunshiny with a hint of wind to dry the washing.
Found a new game to play with the dogs. Put their ball under the laundry basket and let them find a way to get it back out. Drove them bonkers, sliding, dragging, nudgin, pawing, chewing, barking, whining trying to get to it. Eventually, Bess managed to upturn the basket and Ted ran off with her ball.
Hope you all have a great day doing whatever makes you happy

            • Big congratulations, Janie. Great grandma wow. Enjoy your first cuddle and many more precious moments

Wonderful photo of a wild hare, Burnie. Fantastic shot.

Been a glorious day. Finally the lawn was dry enough to mow. Got the table and chairs out so now I have somewhere to sit and do my seeds outside. Done so much digging over borders that my bum aches!

Got some tomatoes sown. Looking forward to testing Sungold this year which got good reviews last year and Black Opal for something different.

Not looking forward to losing an hour's sleep - eek! Means I will be grumpier than my usual morning self

              Have a pleasant evening everyone
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                  • Oh they are absolutely adorable, Deano. Love the named collars as well Bet they are keeping you very busy. I grew up with dogs (Collie, Irish Wolfhound and Airedale Terrier) and they are so loving. If it wasn't for the cat, I'd get one now but she's too nervy for that. One day though

Good idea, Lottie! I bet I won't be able to sleep if I go to bed earlier though You'd think as its Mother's Day tomorrow that I'd get a lay in but I think the cat and daughter who are both early risers will both ensure that doesn't happen! If it's as warm as it was today, I'll probably nod off later in the afternoon.
