  • So just shaving it instead? That will be easy for you to do,yourself Flo!

Rary, is that you giving your age away there...close to a second handful of 'o's

Morning all, Harry dog gave me an extra half hour in bed this morning...wasn't that good of him? Domestics today, fun isn't it. It's lovely and sunny but that wind is just not dying down and it's cold with it. Got some toms that need potting on so maybe do that this afternoon.
Hope you all have a lovely day.

    • Morning Girls'n'Cad from yet another cold but sunny Nestland. No overnight damage that I can see, have just uncovered the greenhouse plants that I put a sheet of newspaper over last night & they smiled at me & said good morning Mally................have a good one.

Hopefully not too much more of this in and out, cover everything up game lol
Quite a few of my overwintering perennials are starting to flower in the 'new' garden, some have not come back though
Not doing much today, house chores possibly, so enjoy yourself everyone

So perhaps you should do what I did when I gave up the hair dresser, Home shave by the OH a No 4 all over No 2 between the ears, ear trims and then a short 0 trim on the neck. With Mrs C having been in hospital & bed rest I'm looking a bit like Doc from back to the future at the moment especially as its gone from salt & pepper, to pepper and now apart from the back at the bottom, I'm as white as snow!

                • Oh dear sorry to hear that Nicos

I also cut my husbands hair with clippers and small scissors. Very easy to do and saves a lot on going to the barbers. I haven't been to the hairdressers in years. I never liked how they did my hair and tried to make it look fancy - doesn't suit me I just like it plain and unfussy. So I keep it about shoulder length and do it myself.

just getting myself ready to play in the greenhouse - now the shelves are up I can start sorting out my pots and organising stuff. It's still only 6 degrees and no sun though so hope it warms up soon!
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                    • Good morning all. It started out lovrly and sunny but now dull snd cloudy and looks like it could rain. We lost that wind yesterday so I left the heavy covers off the potatoes and they are all fine.
Off to the hairdressers this morning to have my hair cut and lowlights as I have almost gone blonde from a month away in the sun.
My son is a barber so all the males in our family are kept "in trim"

                      • Evening all, day started off fine and sunny then went cloudy and showery. I did manage to get one line of washing dry though.
At our daughters visiting, lovely to see our Granddaughter come out if school. She goes to senior school in September, so this will all stop then.

                        • Evening all. Work today, then eldests piano lesson. Managed to get packed lunches made while children awake this afternoon, so had a bit of time in the garden after bed time. Eldest had triathlon this evening, 7 till 8, a bit late as only 7 years old but loves it, & fell asleep really quickly

Had some beans outside which got hit by a bit of frost but early to have them out and will sow more at the weekend anyway.

Off to bed now as really tired after late night yesterday.
                          Another happy Nutter...

                              Kettle's on!

Off to look at a couple of second hand bikes this morning....need some smaller sized ones for visitors....good price...just crossing my fingers they are in good condition

Friends over for a BBQ tonight.....deffo eating indoors!

No real plans for the Bank Holiday, but there are a couple of good Vide Greniers( car boots) worth going to see....maybe....
Think I'd rather crack on in the garden if it's warm enough!

                              What's everyone else planning?
