A little tad overcast in this "Neck of the Woods" But warm!
Not done any for a good few years since Mum took Ill, but decided now that things seem to be slowing up, things sorted, things put to bed, have taken on a few landscaping n gardening jobs which a few folks have been "Hounding" for me to take on.
Having a day off being my "Burpday" Gunna play with the chillies n actually sow some Tomatoes! Yippee!
Best tidy the kitchen first!
Have a great day, play fair, n have fun!

Nice day today, overnight temps have been plus 10 for a few days now, so stuff is slowly coming out of the blowaway inside the g/house and trying out their final positions(that's mostly tommies and chillies still in their pots). Off to Perth for the rest of the day.
I'm working all day aso wont be much going on at the plot, maybe call in and check on it on my way home, then have a look in the conservatory when im home and check to see whats germinated (if anything), peas and beans are up.. still waiting on marrows, onions, cucumber, and a few extra chillies.
I might plant the toms down at the plot at the weekend if the weather looks to be staying +10c for the next couple of weeks..
Morning people - had two and a half hours on the plot this morning before rain stopped play, time goes so fast when on the allotment Umm I wonder if Albert Einstein liked gardening?

Good afternoon, now back home, after a safe journey and yes Malley we did stop off at Gretna, and had a walk through the shopping outlet, I thought I was being romantic walking hand in hand OH said I was holding her hand too tight, I can never win and I did consider staying an other night but decided to get home to the sun, its a lovely day here today though the greenhouse is a bit warm at 32c and that's with 8 roof lights open, will need to consider an auto opener for the door when I am going away in future, though the chances of that are slim, the going away bit I mean, (costs too much) I had actually considered going to sunshiny Wales but decided it was too cold and wet there, had a great weekend now out to check everything in the garden
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Been to Lids today and picked up 6 very decent geranium plants at 79p each. They will look lovely with my perennials.
They are now in my growhouse along with my other seedlings. Getting fuller in there.
Will be sowing all my other seedlings this week, plan A.
Hope you've all had a good bank holiday weekend
Good evening all. Have started repotting my planters. Planted the gazanias several years ago and apart from regular watering did nothing with them. The plastic planters were full of roots. I removed all the plants and divided them and after trimming off excessive roots replanted them. Can I use the roots as a sort of organic manure together with dead leaves or is it likely to cause some sort of infection?

Evening all. Haven't been on this thread for a few days so sorry for everything I've missed.
Rainy bank holiday for us, but got out with children for a bit and managed to finally get a few things done in the garden, though still have lots to sow, pot on, plant out, weed and build
Busy day for us all tomorrow - 2 after school clubs for eldest and weekly trip to beach for both. Work all day for me so youngest in playgroup after morning at school, & OH has regular late meeting.
Night night ,& hope you enjoyed your bank holiday.
Morning all, been to Ayrshire for a few days and of course can't get any signal most of the time which is both a blessing and a pain. Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend. The weather was fab, in fact the fields round about are so dry that the spaces between the crops are like sand. Was washing the car as it has to go into the garage today...drive belt we think and also the airbag light came on yesterday so no idea how much that will cost. (Hate giving the guys a dirty car and I always think you get it back clean) Anyway, while washing it the cattle came up to the fence and were drinking from the hose, maybe you had to be there but it was quite funny! All we seem to do is work when we are there so we are back for a rest!
Well off to have a catch up so see you all later. Have a lovely day.
Morning all from a sunny but rather cool Nestland, it's supposed to be a warm one so fingers crossed. Bacon sarny sounds good cad.................Have a good one.
