Good evening all. I'm languishing in a very dull hotel in a very dull corner of the south west - I hate being away from home. Thank goodness I have you all to keep me company!

Had a few power cuts today, & to be fair to western power they were out fixing a broken junction box at 10.45 this evening.

End of a busy day, bit quieter tomorrow, although lots of customers to phone and diary to be sorted.

Was planting spring onions out in the dark tonight....

I was just reading that the old paper £5 notes go out of circulation this Friday .
I managed to spend mine whilst in the UK...just thought it'd be a good time to remind peeps to hunt out their hidden hoards!

Morning, just popped in to say that, been up half the night with Harry dog, no idea what was wrong with him but he's running around like an idiot this morning whilst I'm sitting here like a half shut knife! It's a god send, Mrs C's legs have healed so that she can actually get in there and use it each morning, she has finished shedding skin like a snake and is loving every morning, however I'm still on back soaping detail and she likes me around as she is still a little unstable.

Good news is that she has managed to come down stairs for the last few days, bad news is I have two weeks to decorate the hall stairs and landing before the new carpet arrives and a week later the stair lift is installed. She will ride it up but will continue to walk down for the exercise.

Morning all. Glad Mrs C on the mend Cad. Looks like another nice day today, got to get dressed and get moving. Work this morning, then collecting youngest at lunchtime. Eldest needs to do piano practice and homework tonight.

Right, sandwich to make and hunt out any old fivers to spend today.

Morning all, late up today due to an evening out with my friends from work.
Meal was ok, and I did manage two wine and sodas. I'm such a cheap date.
A very dull start to today, so not much will be going on out there. Hubby painted the coping stones we have in the garden, they look lovely and clean now.
