Morning, it's dry!!! Not for long though, you see that glass is still half full! Where has summer gone? According to my car yesterday it was only 10 degrees!!

Morning! It's bright and sunny here at the moment - forecast is for it to be dull and yuk all day.

Having a coffee and finishing a bit of work, then it's off to play at Hampton Court Flower Show. I'm on the build team for one of the gardens, and I'm really looking forward to seeing behind the scenes.

Domestics again today, sorting out the last of the flower tubs, and hopefully a swim. Cor...I know this swimming is good for me, but it doesn't half remove a couple of hours where I could be cracking on with desperately needed chores!
Still, tis part of my diet/fitness thing I really need to stick to get it to work......
The lawn is finally greening up again....as are the weeds

Perishing cold here. I've put a jumper on this morning and am waiting for the sun to come up before I go out and water.

Back again. Sorry about that.

Watering over. Gloated over the couple of aubergine flowers that look to have set and the pepper plants that look to be doing well all of a sudden. Mourned over the leeks, which look awful. Hope they'll recover. Heart sank at the sight of a couple of kilos of courgettes waiting to be picked. And worried about the toms, which have grown so well that they were blowing about like a sail in the wind yesterday. Need to find some way of reinforcing the structure... over to Mr Snoop for that.

Paid drudgery for now but a weekend of gardening mornings and afternoon naps ahead. Thank goodness.

Morning not had the heating on but it feels like we've done with the summer and will soon be electric blanket season

Good morning all. Cold, dull, wet snd windy here.
Not a lot on today.
Weather is to pick up later so hopefully a stint in the garden. I think there will be a lot of dead heading to do after all the rain battered thr patunias and sweetpeas yesterday.
Tomatoes and peppers to be fed as well and I am sure there will be some weeds to sort out.

Good afternoon, overcast here all day with a high of 15c though feels warmer everything garden wise seems to be struggling except for the compost material and the slugs, I have bought a bag of onion sets to try VC suggestion of growing them as spring onions, I hope it works or I will have spent a fair bit of money for nothing, the heating in the house has been on the past three days, and am considering putting the fire on in the greenhouse. Well enjoy the weekend, and hope the weather improves for everyone but whatever you get remember to pass on a smile
