I can offer OH with bad shoulder as achy if it helps? On one shoulder in just over a year he's had torn rotater cuff x 2 & dislocated & fractured it. Had extensive physio & still gets pain. Serves him right for chasing a friend too hard in a mountain bike race

Good evening all. Its been a very mild day today. Went walking this morning and got a chance to do another bit of tidying in the garden this afternoon.
About two weeks ago I found 3 self seeded sweetpea plants growing away in the cold greenhouse so today I moved all the ones I sowed a few weeks ago down there as well.
If they made it through the cold of last week I am sure they will survive anything.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I feel his pain with just the rota cuff,my tendon has snapped,it is very early days for him, please feel reasured,it will take a long time,as long as he is sensible and not push to pain,he should gradually feel better, with just the odd times of OMG,mine was done twice before it snaped, using the pull up strap to get in a 4x4,never again,me to would have rested more, preserve what you got for now Nicos, now just where has this day gone, sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

I'm 2nd youngest in the group...most are late 60s early 70s , so it's not too energetic...but these farmers' wives are made of steel!
Glad I did go....(..I stopped part way through some of the exercises just to be careful)

Guess who ran out of seed compost yesterday?....good excuse to go and have another little nosy at some seeds!
I certainly need some parsnip and carrot seeds( and some for the snowman comp)...oh, and I'm sure I could do with plenty of others I've no idea I really need!
Seems a tad colder this morning.....
Have a good day peeps"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning Crew of the good ship Grapevine, looks like you lot are all falling apart, the cold weather is supposed to stop the germs, or perhaps they have taken residence in gardeners bodies because they are all low of energy due to lack of sunlight and physical contact with warm soil?
Younger daughter had her first car accident yesterday, small scrape on his car and a dented plastic bumper on hers, now I need to find out how to take the blinking thing off so I can try and push it back out. Its a 2003 Nissan Micra if anyone knows how?

Morning all, shuffling off to get some coffee and thinking of a day's mattocking on the plot.
Hope the bumper doesn't need much wrestling Cad & happy seed hunting Nicos.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia
