Well yesterday was full on stress. I did get the job I went for but turned it down when they told me the actual hours. Bit of a bust but there we go.
Then I've had full on stress with the kids and OH. Going to be very stressful today when I have to go back over and have a chat with everyone again. Its getting a bit complicated now and today I am going to be the baddie.
Then I aim to de stress down the allotment. Go beat some weeds up and get ground ready for my field beans. VC's fault
Oh well done for finding a buyer VC. I'm glad you've found someone who will loves your cottage the way you do.

Good morning, everyone. And welcome back to Nicos, who's probably out in among the courgette plants throwing her hands up in alarm at the arsenal of missiles that have grown in her absence.
All good here. Mr Snoop didn't fall down the well, but it was cloudy so pump not yet tested. Well level looking the lowest we've ever seen it. Even the spring at the end of the valley is slowing down. Really, really need a wet autumn.

It's dull this morning with the threat of rain, not cold though. Had a good sleep last night but today I get my revenge on Harry dog...he's off to the groomer this afternoon!!

Morning all, it's a miraculous day today
My sister is staying with our StepMum and is coming over for lunch
My Sis lives in Somerset and StepMum and all my sisters local mates live 10 mins away.
First time in 30 odd years she has deigned to stop off at ours.
Parking for Heathrow doesn't count lol
Anyhow, they will be eating tomatoes for definite

Afternoon!
Managed to unpack, pick almost a barrow load of French beans
....blatantly ignored the 18" marrows (they were only 3" long last Wednesday!)
Made a birthday cake for the little girl in the gite who is 5 today!...awww!
Now got the washing on the go.....
It's so nice to get home and into your own bed isn't it?
Got some catching up to do on here, but I notice VC has sold her cottage....sounds like it's to exactly the right person too! Brill.

Oy, Nicos, less of this "putting VC in her place" business I'm worn out, turning on the charm for the buyer for 6 hours It worked so well he invited me back to stay! Maybe I shouldn't have been quite so nice!!
I shall be so sorry to leave the neighbours - they're so kind. One insisted on sweeping the 49 steps to the front door, before the buyer arrived, so that it gave a good impression. Three of them have been carrying my stuff down the steps and packing the car, including the buyer! I think they want me gone.
Two invites for a meal last night, which I declined, but I did accept a glass of wine on the terrace in the sun. I'm back in Cardiff now, with a car full of rubbish to find places for..........it will take weeks.

The family visit has been and gone and went fine
Hubby wouldn't let me give any of our tomatoes to them lol. He eats them like sweeties.
Made a chicken curry for them at lunch, with enough for us for tea. So looking forward to it.
Elderly Aunt was still with us last night with an oxygen mask, sad when you know they will be better off gone isn't it?Nannys make memoriesComment
