Cold, wet and windy here today! Guess we are not getting a summer at all this year...not even an Indian one! I have two ripe tomatoes at the moment so that's one each for the OH and I.
Sorry should have said good morning. Hope you are all well. It was cold last night too and dark before 9pm. Time to look out the winter woolies, won't be long until we need them. On that happy note, I'll leave you and go grab a cuppa. Have a great day everyone.

Evening you lovely people, thanks for your condolences. She did have a long and fairly happy life
It's just sad when the body, then the mind lets you down
Anyway, did a particularly busy stint at the charity shop, walking 7,000 plus steps
Such a muggy, clammy day today. Be glad for a cool down tomorrow.

Good evening Folks, we have a painter in to do some painting, SWHTP wanted the porch painted then decided the hall could do with a touch up, and of course we might as well paint the living room and the dining room while we are at it, and boy am I not glad I hung painting the porch at the start, for she would have went on till I had painted the lot.
I came across a wee joke that I enjoyed as it reminds me of someone, but at the moment I cant remember who, but I`m sure it will come to me
A young*Scottish lad*and lass were*sitting on a low stone wall, holding hands, gazing out*over the loch.
For several minutes they sat silently. Then finally the girl looked at the boy and*said, "A penny for your thoughts, Angus."
"Well,*uh, I was thinkin'... Perhaps it's aboot time for a wee*kiss."*
The girl blushed, then leaned over and*kissed him lightly on the cheek.*
Then he blushed. The two turned once again to gaze out over the loch.*
Minutes passed and the girl spoke again.*"Another penny for your thoughts, Angus."
"Well,*uh, I was thinkin' perhaps it's noo aboot time for a wee*cuddle.
" The girl blushed, then leaned over and cuddled him for a few seconds. Then he blushed.
And the two turned once again to gaze out over the loch.*
After a*while, she again said, "Another penny for your thoughts,*Angus."*
"Well, uh, I was thinkin' perhaps it's*aboot time you let me put my hand on your leg."*
The girl blushed, then took his hand and put it on her knee. Then he blushed.*
Then the two turned once again to*gaze out over the loch before the girl spoke again.*
"Another penny for your thoughts, Angus."
The*young man glanced down with a furled brow. "Well, noo," he said, "my thoughts are a wee bit more serious this*time."
"Really?" said the lass in a whisper, filled with anticipation.*
"Aye," said the lad, nodding.*
The girl looked away in shyness, began*to blush, and bit her lip in anticipation of the*ultimate request.
Then he said,*"Dae ye nae think*it's aboot time ye paid me the first three pennies?"it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Sorry...bit late on here for me today!
Early hosp visit this am with OH...all going well...next follow up pre Xmas

Then guests over to eat.
37C out there today....little 2yr old lad was standing in our washing up bowl to keep cool!
Feeling much cooler now , with the wonderful rumbling sounds of thunder out there....maybe summer is now over?....
