cordon variety (indeterminate) see Growing notes and review of Outdoor Girl tomatoes

Each year I try and add a couple of more to my grow each year list here is how I arranged it for this year and I have already kinda sorted the next few years of growing. Alans Allotment: Tomato Selection - The Final Cut The only problem is I picked up some more tomato seed packs in the Wyevale 50p sale so I will have to do a re -juggle.

      • Brilliant, Cadalot. They look like just the job for me. Thanks for asking the question, NS.

Edited to add: I've just had a look at your tomato selection list. I grow multiples of ten varieties. Mr Snoop would like me to grow single plants of more varieties, just to try them. But seeing your list, I'm not sure I'd be able to sleep at night for worrying about permutations! That is a truly impressive selection.

          • Finished the ironing.
Cut back some more leaves from the tomatoes.
            Deadheaded the dahlias and sweetpeas.
Still didnt rain, so all good.

            • Good afternoon,

Done some weeding on the plot and harvest some more runner beans. Bought some containers so I can blanch and freeze them. Going to make a blackberry cake later

              • Good afternoon, its been a very wet day here, but the rain has actually stopped for now but everything is so wet, my tomatoes are about finished, tried the black grape tomato this year and I really liked them, but unfortunately not many reached the house, so OH thinks that they are not worth growing next year, but definitely on my list, need to go my daughter's coming in and time for me to go home and get fed
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                            • So sorry to read you sad news, Nicos. My thoughts are with you.

Morning all. Been a very manic summer holiday with lots going on. My daughter goes back to school tomorrow and I have a long list of jobs to complete which I've been putting off like labelling stuff and sorting out the calendar.

I have been reading the odd post but am a bit out of the loop. Hope everyone else is well.

Garden is going great guns and still eating plenty from it. Long may it last!
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
