          • Morning all. Sorry to hear of your sad news Nicos.

Hans first day at her new school. Was expecting tears but she was fine which was a relief for everyone. Will goes back tomorrow. He was meant to be fishing with granddad today but it is raining here. A bit disappointed but granddad has promised to take him when its dry one weekend.

So tomorrow I will be rushing round dropping kids off then sneaking into town to get Hans birthday presents. Going to be 10 next week.

            Have a good day everyone.

                • So sorry to hear of your loss Nicos. Hugs.

Nice to see you back AP.

Had to go to a village up the road today and noticed that it seems to be a good year for hedgerow fruits. I don't know where to go to pick them this year as my nearest hedgerows have been grubbed up as a part of 2 new housing estates that are being inflicted on us. The original plans said they would be kept, but they're gone. I've gone from living on the edge of our small town to being on the edge of the centre.

I'll ask my brother if he wants his (fruit that is). Sloe gin is calling as is blackberry wine and elderberry cheese cake.

                  • Evening all, a funny muggy day they had ended in rain.
Work went ok, 7256 steps done whilst I was there
Made up 3 containers of low sugar jelly and left them at the back right side of one of our worktops to cool before fridge
Hubby came in, showed him exactly where to keep clear of
1 minute later and an expletive, you guessed it, hubby had managed to upend one over the work top and floor.
Course it was my fault ......

Thinking of you, Nicos, and your family at this sad time.x

I've been doing things today - things I've been putting off - like taking an overheating laptop to Mr Fix-it (I hope); going to the vets for Flea and worming treatments (for the dogs, not me) and ringing an electrician about the kitchen lights that stopped working a couple of weeks ago. To my surprise, he came up this afternoon and fixed them. I thought I'd have to wait until next week! What a nice man
However, I've done nothing in the garden that I wanted to do. Maybe tomorrow - although I will have to pick up the laptop sometime.
Anyway, hope you've all had a good day and I'll see you tomorrow
