Morning all. Cold and damp here at the moment. Was planning to go to allotment to pick the last of my runner beans and to possibly if needed to cut them down. Hopefully though it will brighten up in a bit. Kettle is on if anyone fancies a cuppa.
Have a good day everyone
Morning All, fresh and bright here, cloud cover but it's very high. I'll join you for a cuppa NVG. Been snipping off blighty bits from the lotty tunnel sungolds this week, they're still dripping with toms so might pick the ripe ones today and get them in the dehydrator. Last nights outdoor girl look like they're done and ready to bag up.
Enjoy your Saturday folks.
Good Morning All Damp and drizzly here. More plum jam to make today and I may do more microwave lemon curd, it's delicious. I have Room Service but thank you. Have a good day
Had a great day yesterday - it rained a bit. Not much but some. More due in a week or so, but still we'll only be about a third of what we normally get in September. And nothing else forecast at all during the long-term forecast on Accuweather. Hope that's not accurate!
Bright and breezy today. Mr Snoop is outside preparing firewood. The range will be going on tonight, as it's now chilly enough. Roast pork with friends tonight to celebrate the range and to commiserate over the dying toms.
Mr. Bones, Cadalot recommended Outdoor Girl a while back. Have you been enjoying them too?
Hope you all have a great day too. Enjoy Vegas, NS. And keep your head down, Rary.
Morning all, just been popping in for a quick catch-up this week as I've been back and forward to the hospital with my mum. She got some bad news regarding her health so had quite a few appointments. Needs an op but they want to make sure she is fit enough first. Not sure they will go ahead with it but we will have to wait and see.
Hope you are all well. Enjoy the holiday NS, we love Vegas but it's been a while since we've been.
Anyhoo, hope you all have a lovely day...boy it's cold this morning isn't it?
Good evening all.
Its a miserable, cold, wet evening here.
I was lucky to get out for a game of pitch and putt today.
We did get a bit of a wetting towards the end of the game but at least we got out.
What a miserable September.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Evening the day started of cold I even wore my thick coat, then it rained but by this afternoon the sun came out and I carried my coat on the way home from work. Its really been an odd sort of day weather wise.
just popping in to catch up and say how-do!
Looks like we had some of the best weather today!...lots of sun, clouds and only a bit of drizzle...in fact the weather here has been warmer and drier than our French locality!
Early night for me ...tomorrow is going to be a very long day.
not sure if I'll have much of a chance to pop in again for a few days...so....behave ......
...and as rary says...pass on a smile x
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Good evening, went out to a GC for lunch and they were selling off some micorrhizal fungus so I bought((((( a packet to give it a try, have also, started to empty my raised bed I am putting it into a builders rubble bag and have the first one just over half full with a full 60Lt bag of tree roots, I was thinking that I had made a rod for my own back, till I realised that there are no worms in the soil even the robin that was
dancing about, looked as if he was ready to give up, so if I have five of those bags I can treat them individually to stop the NZ flat worm. Well I am off to get ready for bed, it was the back of 2 this morning before I went to bed, so don't want to be as late tonight, enjoy tomorrow, and drive safely if on the road, don't be one of the idiots that can't drive below 75mph. I don't have enough flowers in the garden now to send to you if there is an accident, take your time remember the old coffin dodger min the front, could be you in a few years, if you are lucky pass on a smile. Goodnight
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Morning All. I put micorrhizal fungus round my rasps and blackcurrants when they were planted Rary and they did really well. Unfortunately I had to move them after two seasons but the fungi was evident all round that area.
Looks like I'm first up so I'll get the kettle on
