Bright blue skies and very windy. Grr. A friend barely 40 miles away tells me it's been pouring for days where he is... I feel like have a typical three-year-old's tantrum. It just ain't fair.
Other than that, all good. Didn't get enough done at the weekend. So had better get my skates on today.
Morning people - It's been a weekend from hell, I'm hoping for a better week but I shall not be holding my breath! Lets hope we all get a good day today.

Morning all, well that's flippin nippy outside!
Sun is out, to no avail at the moment, but hopefully get a tad warmer later.
Had a relaxing weekend. I could use the word boring I suppose.
But here we are, back to work this afternoon.
Cad, my heart goes out to you and Mrs Cad.
Have a great day you lot
Good morning, cold and overcast here, with no frost we had a clear sky at half past one this morning but now complete cloud cover, right need to move want to go and collect leaves before the rain starts, enjoy your day
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Too late that's the rain on, so need to plan a different day. Just caught up with some earlier posts, Snoop move up here and you will get plenty of rain, Cad I hope things improve for the both of you, and those who have the frost get out and enjoy it, frosty morning's are better than morning's of heavy rain, well as I said earlier enjoy your day no matter what the weather

Working at home really Bren but quite relaxing. Meals on wheels prep this morning, but a visit to my daughter's this afternoon and a haircut so looking forward to that
Good morning all,not looked in the greenhouse yet,but was some light frost on the border plants, nice and sunny just now,see if it warms up any later again, thinking of the Cadalot family, waiting to hear about my sis,8 days after a bad break, they decided it does need pinning and screws, aparently policy is,pull it in place to see if that works first,to save money on operations,so 12 days on ,have a good day and BG2Uselve.

We too had a crunchy, white start to the day.
Sooo pretty seeing it glistening in the sun-especially the frosty leaves sparkling in the breeze.
Sorry you had such a rubbish weekend Cad....hopefully it'll feel more 'under control' soon.
This weekend I really cracked on with kthe craftwork...tis a bit of relief seeing the stock increase.
Still...I'd rather be out there shredding branches and creating a pile of mulch on this lovely morning!
Have a great day y'all.....hopefully you too Cad x

Hi All and thank you for all the kind words and thoughts.
Good and Bad news, Mrs C had a bad reaction to medication and was being sick for 3 hours this morning, but is now fast asleep, but I have a real life doctor visiting her this afternoon I have spoken to her on the phone this morning and she is also going to refer us back to the Neurologist & Rheumatology Consultants so we can hopefully find ways of restoring some mobility and reduce the pain.

I've just read your mini rant, Cadalot. What a saga. I hope you get some kind of solution. This can't go on for either of you. I'm surprised that the hospital can't refer you to social services for some kind of home help and adaptations or aids. My mum was pretty well floundering on her own, looking after my dad. But as soon as the hospital social services team got involved, everything changed dramatically for the better. Very best wishes to both of you.
