Morning, chilly and dry this morning...no snow! Another day of doing nothing as my back is extremely painful...have no idea what I've done. Lucky you Nicos, I take it you are away in 4 weeks when it's your birthday and not this weekend? Enjoy! Had some good news last night, people we were really friendly with years ago but not so much now have just become grandparents for the first time. They sent a photo of their new granddaughter...absolutely beautiful. They were on a flight down to London when she was born and arrived just in time for cuddles at visiting time. How lovely is that.

Yep Jay, ...over my Burpday weekend.

This will be my second long weekend away in 6 months!.
Having said that...it's also true to say it's our second long weekend away-just the two of us - in 10 years!
(And that was when we bought this house!)

Hope your back improves quickly...would a hot water bottle help?

Have a lovely time Nicos. Friday is my socialising day when I meet my mates in the pub about midday. Mostly a girly event. Today i met with 2 people who I would never want to socialise with again. I thought I was safe as they were banned from this pub. The ban has been lifted and they now think they can go back to being my friend. Time to find somewhere else!

Oh, and there seems to be snow on all the parked cars.

Evening all. Been ever so cold here the last few days but dry. Went to the gym again - getting used to it now. OH cooked dinner, but didn't put enough water in the steamer. Caught it just before the pan burnt, & ad it was purple cabbage it now has a layer of a purple tar like substance on the bottom

Promised to take children to the wildlife park tomorrow so OH can get some work done - better wrap up warm night all

We were going to make a new triple compost using pallets today, but may need a Plan B.
