                • Finally after 3 frustrating days of messing about with different Operating Systems & Media Software, I've managed to turn an old XP PC Tower into a Ubuntu lean mean flying Media Centre...........Connected to a 50" TV & speaker amp............I'm so chuffed.

                    • That Deano will be 'booming' with things or people unknown - that LD is happy - that Nicos has baa lambs and that.....................

                      My OH is slowly recovering from sepsis and double pneumonia and might, if the hospitals left hand can work out what its right hand is doing be home before the weekend. He will have to get used to his zimmer who is now called Walter the Walker and his wheelchair and his oxygen but at least he will be coming home..........................

                                A pair of robins courting by the birdbath
                                Chaffinches at the feeders, very rare in my garden
                                First sparrows for what seems like ages
                                And
                                Frisky pigeons not my favourite bird to have in the garden but they are funny to watch
