Juicy has arrived...................we had to do a mad dash to the vets at 5pm as our lovely co-ordinator Alma took one look at her and said VETS NOW.
She has ulcers on 2 of her nipples? and the vet is almost certain that the oozy lump on a third is cancerous.
And untreatable but........................
She is safe now and on a conconction of drugs for infection and pain etc. She has just had breakfast and will be having 4 meals a day to build her up as she only weighs 25.2 kg (about 6kg short).
And, what makes me happy...........that we can give her a happy and comfortable end of life care.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Bless you, Lumpy. But I know Juicy will do that.
We did the same for an emaciated stray cat once, who we called Shanty. The only way was out for her, but her last days were spent purring on a cushion in front of the fire, instead of hungry, cold and scared. I'm sorry Juicy is so poorly, but hats off to you for being happy to have her safe with you.Comment
