My cousins husband became seriously ill 3 years ago, so much so it was touch and go, & he spent 2 years in hospitals / care homes (only in his forties).
They fought tooth and nail to get the house adapted, & 24 hour care at home, & he came home last year.
This evening she has posted a video of him feeding himself for the first time since his illness - something no one would have predicted last year!
It's been a very long hard road, but this is a huge gift to them, & has made us all extremely happy and thankful.
The strength they and their children have shown constantly amaze me.
Sorry for waffling, but this makes me and all our family very happy indeed

Our local youth footy club put an appeal out for the victims of the tower block fire.
Got together a carrier bag of clothes and toiletries and took them down. The response has been absolutely amazing

Bought a rather expensive bit of kit from a remote source. Today it was fitted and water tested it..... FAILED water everywhere.
3-45pm I sent said company an e-mail explaining the problem chrome plating had covered a casting crack till the water pressure hit it that is and attached photographs. I then sat back plotting my next move when the argument started.
4-06pm PING! Open e-mail.
Dear Potty we are so sorry for the problem the item caused and thank you for the photos to prove the point, we have missed our posting time today everything went at 3-00pm but your replacement is packaged and will be sent out on tomorrows over night delivery, tracking info will follow.
Talk about 'took the wind from my sails' if this comes off they will get more business from me that's for sure.Potty by name Potty by nature.
