Children wandering around the garden picking things to make a salad for Sunday lunch. Children eating another salad for dinner tonight with sorrel, purple orach, red amaranth, baby little gem leaves, & nasturtium leaves, plus redcurrants and raspberries all from the garden!

They're 3 & 7 so am feeling quite smug. However they've insisted on sleeping in the same bed tonight so may not be feeling so smug fairly soon...

Well swell headed really.

This is the first season my young new neighbour as seen my garden in full bloom so to speak. I had just managed to put a couple of cumbers in his hand when he said "I never realised Potty just what do you grow?"

After I had finished listing my edibles he said "Wow it like having a mini TESCO outside your back door."

Started moving the woodchip this evening - Couldn't wait until tomorrow

The nibble out of this mound ....... has transformed this part of the pup's playground
