        • That my rant of the day isn't worthy of the rant thread.

My 72 perennial collection arrived today despite getting an e-mail to say it was delayed till the end of next month.
It was more like 172 - I have back ache from sorting and potting them all.
I have another £5 voucher to spend (that is what got me into this mess)

          • Happy to have two of my grandkids for the afternoon.
Took them out for lunch and then to S##ths toy store as it is my grandsons upcoming birthday.
            We had a lovely afternoon.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                • I don't give a flying dodo about the garden today as we are waiting for a new arrival.

She has spent 3 days travelling. Is 13 years old. Is starved and has alot of lumps. Has lived in a shed all her life (or so I am told by the LLT).

She is a golden Labrador. due around 7 pm. I've seen the piccies and video of the poor old girl and can't wait to meet her.

                      Ta VC.

There are many more people now who look at the Oldies as they tend to be house trained, don't need as much excercise and are normally (but not always) used to other dogs, cats and kids etc.

All they seem to want out of life is a place to lie in the sun during summer, a comfy bed and a cuddle.

It makes me happy that we can do a little bit to help.
