I spent all week either on the Beeb or the interweb watching the Invictus Games...............
As a consequence..........
I Am Proud
I Am Astounded
I Am Crying
I Am Gobsmacked
I Am Amazed

I've got a man what 'does'. Today he cut a load of wood which would have taken me at least 6hrs to cut. Next week he is going to turn one of my compost heaps. I'm a happy Bunnie!!!!Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet

The other drivers insurance have accepted full liability
They were a bit iffy about the costs until I explained it was a brand new van and I wanted it back to brand new or would see them at the top of the court house stepsPotty by name Potty by nature.

Tomorrow I hand back the keys to my allotment. For the second year running this year I let the plot get away from me in the summer and visiting it became a chore rather than a pleasure. So from now on I can play carefree golf without fretting about the gardening that's not getting done
I've lifted all the onions, potatoes and carrots, picked the last of the beans, rescued a couple of dozen strawberry runners, transplanted some leeks and one of each variety of Chrysanthemum into the back garden, and helped the lady on the plot next door move my shed onto hers. So tomorrow I will pick one last bunch of Chrysanths, hand back the keys and skip away whistling a happy tune.
Maybe someone will take over my plot this autumn and they can get the benefit of the rest of the Chrysanths, the sprouts and the early purple sprouting broccoli.
Next year I will be square foot gardening in my back garden. I have my new raised bed for veg (48 square feet), and will be growing potatoes, runner beans and Chrysanthemums in pots. It's going to be so much easier when it's all just outside the back door!

I did it..............I did it.................I did it!
After my terrible experience at the dentist last month where 2 of the roots had welded themselves into my jaw I went to the specialist dental surgeon this morning.
I was all on my own but did not run and hide.
I was a brave paciderm.
I did'nt even squel with the first injection - catatonic state had set in.
No roots and 3 stitches later............................Whoop Whoop!I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
