  • Son in law called in this evening and repaired my washing machine.
lucky for me, he used to work in electrical repairs.

    • I had to get a considerable work backlog knocked on the head, and I have. I am up to date!

Admittedly it is nearly 1am, and that state of up to date-ness might not last long, but for now at least a weight is lifted and I can have a day off for my birthday tomorrow with a clear conscience. Hurrah!

      • Got my tablet back and it is up and running again.
I missed it so much as the screen on the phone seems so much smaller.
However, all back to normal again.

                • I noticed one of them, Lumpy, and I'm still getting over the shock
Actually, I was going to post that it made me happy but thought you might think I was being rude
                  I was very impressed

                      • One of my elderly relatives was really worried that he had a serious illness. He was too scared to go to the doctors He eventually agreed to go if I went with him.

What made me happy was seeing his face when the doctor told him it was a common complaint and he'd be back to normal in a week or so.

                              • A very successful seed and plant swap.....for me it's really about seeing loads of peeps with huge, contented grins on their faces as they wander away with loads of free goodies!
The fact that they actually enjoyed my baking ( and asked for the recipes!!!!)was a huuuge bonus too!
