I sew all my own clothes, slowly.
I've just had a four day battle with a welt pocket, so tonight hoping to finish the wide leg trousers it's attached to.
I never thought I'd do it, but they've got elastic waistband!


I also have a faux suede dress to hem. I loathe hemming

Tomorrow I'm hoping to start a new painting. Thurs & Fridays are painting days. No, I don't watch TV, ours only plays sport or war films

Any crafty people out there?

I use another forum where some people post their arts and crafts. Although this isn't as amazing as others I've seen, it's a cross-stitch sampler I've finally finished for my 2+ year-old great-niece. It comprises everything she loves including Mr. Barker (a toy Dulux dog), her musical box with a dancing clown, the swing we got her last year, hats, mats and carrots coming out of a cardboard tube that she loves to blow down, balloons, balls, fish, dandelions, plus other things relating to life such as sun and clouds always makes rainbows, doves for peace, and the love she has for her mum and dad. Anyone has something to show us?

It looks pretty amazing to me - don't do yourself down! So much work gone into it; a real labour of love.
