  • Beards

I'm hoping to see Anthrax in Feb. An heavy metal band from the 80s. Essentially their long hair is no longer atop their heads but coming out their ears n noses. Beards are a bit of a thing so I'm trying to get mine a little longer. Any other razor-dodgers here?

If I could grow a beard I would.. my other half has a very nice one so I just stroke his when I get the urge.

As for the Anthrax gig, mosh on brother!

Went to see them in Newport, 2002 with Motorhead.. what a gig! Being 13 at the time, I think I was the youngest (smallest) there

Basically we are (attmempting to) recreating our Monsters of Rock thing from 1987 - most of the other punters will be doing the same

I admit - I'm getting old - but I'm not going down without a fight (and allotment!)

I am married to a razor dodger. He has been razor dodging for all of our 43 year entanglement.

No I think of it all my past fella's had beards. I think I just like furry faces.

                Ahh Mrs Bee

This must be why I always emphasize Mrs Balders rather than Mrs B... sounds like we'd be quite a thing if meeting as singles

I'm sounding a bit dodgy so will go to another thread now

Looking at your beard picture I think I am a little older than you Baldy.

And ruddy well feeling me age this week too.

Beards are fab. Him Indoors tries sporadically but it doesn't join up sadly. It's something of a disappointment.

I've got a Guy Fawkes beard (only in white) plus a tash that's usually a porridge-stopper.

OH has a fine beard - he was my first boyfriend with a beard, & he's the one I married! His is seasonal. Shaves it off at the beginning of the summer holidays to let his face get some sunlight, then let's it grow back & keeps it for the rest of the year. Varies in size, in winter it gets quite big - useful for keeping ones face warm whilst cycling in cold temperatures apparently

So a couple of weeks later than intended, work has commenced on my anti-ratty tunnel today.

Dismantling the existing structure was a lot harder than I expected, a lot of stuck screws that no amount of WD-40 would liberate! So a lot of action for my sharp mate Stanley, my hand axe and my...
