Not one for the purists, England rode their luck, some pretty average performances, Wales had plenty of passion and belief, but they seemed to lack technique and were out thought rather than out played.
Italy are a fair way from where they would like to be, long road ahead for Connor O'Shea and his team. Ireland won't get an easier game than that one for a fair old while.
