Not today Jay22, no chance. Scotland won't know what has hit them.

I have just had a premonition:-
            England 450
            Scotland 3
            Swing low sweet chariot etc.

If Scotland are 12 0 up by 20 minutes then they stand a chance. Unfortunately Scotlands current 15 are not strong enough for Englands 23 for the whole match

However, a great deal depends on how England start the game. They haven't started well so far, almost been asleep for the first 10 minutes and then have to spend the next 10 minutes waking up and working out who is where. It should be a good game no matter what tactics are employed.

I'm having a pretty darn good afternoon - don't suppose Gavin Hastings is....

(I can't even remember what he said 20 odd years ago but he definitely said summat that now makes me smile when the Scots are under the cosh - apologies to his brother and (more or less) all other Scottish folk)

But even I am a little worried for Scotland in the 2nd half

Well, England played their best of the competition so far - Scotland did well in the second half to stop it from running *too* far away.
(Gavin probably said something about patronising English bar stewards or summat)

Now, yesterday, clutching a snifter of Penderyn 'That Try' in hand, wearing my best daffodil hat, Cymru scarf and jersey ....... thoroughly enjoyed a treat of a magnificent game of rugby .........and even better that the boyos won ...........

Well, I have spoken to Staples and Office and they say they have no drawing boards available for the next 3 months. Something about large orders in from Scotland and they are still filling the large order from Wales.

A check with Delabole slate and I found out that they have a large order from Italy and they are having difficulties supplying the chalk sticks. Seems they can only get yellow sticks!

Bill Beamont has lost his copy of the rugby laws, seems that Philip Browne has been going around collecting every available copy to see if they can copy Conor O'Shea. They only have a week but they are hoping to borrow the drawing boards from Wales because they(Wales) don't think they need them any more.

Bryn Parker hopes that Warren realises his mistake and comes back.

The international refs are pleased they have constant DRS from cricket as it takes away the possibility of issuing a yellow card by mistake.

And well done to the English women.

Well done to the ladies rugby team today.
                                Ireland 12 Wales 7.
Playing England next Saturday with a view to winning the grand slam.
Perhaps a little bit more exposure, attention and support for these ladies.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
