I'm being a maverick and getting rid of things regardless of the day
Yesterday and day before, children in day care OH and I attacked the attic. Two bootloads to the tip, big bag of stuff for charity, about 5 big bags for recycling and two big bonfires of cardboard, receipts, bank statements etc.
Large play area for children created in attic which they love. Inner attic tidied and boxed up with clothes waiting to be grown into, luggage, Christmas decorations, spare duvets and other stuff all neat and accessible. Still have boxes to still go through but all tidy and ready to sort at leisure!
Enormous coffee table collected by local charity, and even more enormous futon and mattress sold for £50
Eldests clothes gone through, another box for attic and 2 sacks of hand me downs from sister in law gone through today.
Phew, need a drink and so does anyone who read to the end of this
Ha!....I specifically went out and did my automobile boot yesterday to get the last A completed.....having spent all the rest of the day doing my paperwork....
Aka....Accounts!
Gawd I can be thick sometimes!
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
G done
Started in the Greenhouse, binning broken pots
Chucked Gardening Gloves
Too cold out there for long so indoors,
Paired up my Gloves and chucked 2 odd ones
Chucked 2 wrong prescription pairs of reading Glasses
Chucked a handful of Guides to places I'm unlikely to visit again
Put aside some Glass vases for the charity shop.
£3.50 earned.
H tomorrow - house, hats, hair stuff, handbags..............
B for 3 full Box files - after emptying, sorting, and shredding, I was left with one box file a quarter full (and a bin bag and a half of shredded paper that half filled the recycling bin - one of the wonders of the universe is how paper expands into so much space when it's shredded)
C for Computer - took the dead one to the recycling site,
also related Cardboard
also Christmas Cards

Well done you.
I think some charity shops take old reading glasses and send them to 3rd world countries. I have no idea if that's true or if I dreamt it !
With the talk of chucking things out, where can I send old still working laptops and a computer, as I would rather someone got the use of them than just binning them
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
