'Tis a badge of honour multiveg - means you've achieved a degree of maturity. Look on it as a sign that you are one of the elders of the tribe and should be respected. (Am I talking anyone into this?)
Whatever you do, don't pull it out (or am I too late ) They say that a million grow back in its place, and I should know. Still, you can always do what my Mum does (or did - she's 74 now and grey all over) which is, tell everyone that you spent loads of money having the grey streaks put in at the hairdressers

A garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! (Thomas Edward Brown)
30 something eh!!Poor old you,it's all hot flushes and varicose veins from now on!! The slippery slope, the wrong side of the hill!!!
God,I wish I were 30 something again,what I would do,the places I would go,The trees I would plant!
Enjoy the age you are.All ages bring their compensations.I wouldn't live my teen-age years again for anything,'nor my twenties(apart from my children),my thirties were a lot better,my forties so interesting and now my fifties--wonderful.Here I would stay if I could. I can say what I like(indulgent smiles) wear what I like(nobody notices-or cares) have the leisure to do things at my own pace, the security to indulge myself from time to time.I'm hoping my sixties will be even better!!
The thing is,seize the hour, enjoy every day, even in a small way.Forget boring things like housework, duty, cleaning the fridge, washing curtains, responsibility, whatever you want, whatever you want to do,do it!! You're a very long time dead.
My sister died last week, having done nothing in her life but wait for something better.Go out and find it.It won't cost a penny!!!!!
Take heart, Multiveg, it is a family characteristic of my 'mob' that the males go grey early. I had 'silverwings' at 24! I am now 58 and my grandson finds it hilarious if he can see a BLACK hair!!!

Well said Polly!
My mum, who is close to 60, has a better social calendar than I do!
