Thats what they do best ain't it,it's to do with the carpet pile,i took ours up for just that reason,traped it under the corners of the sweet,and it just goes hay wire,i tried the large mat,in both directions of the carpet,also cross ways,and still the BBBBBBBBBBthing walked,to this day it resides rolled up in the attic.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

You could try sewing it on to the carpet. You'd need a curved needle so it would go down under the carpet and come up again, and it would need to be a big strong one (with a very strong thread) but I'm sure I've seen needles like that. There's probably a special name for them.Comment
