    It's my birthday!

    I am five today, in growing terms.

    Got my plot on 20 March 2012, having never grown anything other than a supermarket chilli before.

    Can't imagine life without it now. And I love that it also hits the spring equinox and Persian New Year.

    There is cake in the kitchen. With a candle. And some seeds to sow.

    Happy plot birthday. Please, don't get the cake and seeds mixed up. Your mouth will end up dry and the icing will have the slugs fat.

                            LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
